Monday Musings - Open Our Eyes and Ears Lord!

[The following article, penned by a dear friend and faithful Catholic, was first published more than four and a half years ago in the December 2017 issue of The Patriot (Volume 8, Issue 2). I am re-posting it here with permission and at his request. This is one man's attempt to wake us up. It needs to be heard and heeded.]

JESUS’ WARNING TO US

I, Jesus, speak to you, the people of the United States, individually and as a nation. I have witnessed civil conflict after civil conflict, war after war, Mortal Sin after Mortal Sin. I have witnessed the breaking of each of the Ten Commandments. More and more people are denying Me, are indifferent to Me. I have been profaned. My Mother Mary has been ridiculed and the object of jokes. Moral corruption on all levels of the political, social and religious strata is ubiquitous. People are scandalized by all of this. I have held my anger back because I love each and every one of you and I want you to join Me in Heaven. But time is getting nearer where I will no longer hold back my outrage.

Within My own Mystical Body which I established when on earth, Satan has entered. He found the Achilles heel of too many of My priests, some of whom are Cardinals and Bishops. And this more so in the last 100 years and has been more open in this the 21^st Century.

Heresies are more rampant among the clergy where My people are being misled day by day, scandal by scandal. These heretics will not listen to the Faithful clergy and Faithful lay people. My Father’s creation of the world has been crucified by all this ungodly behavior. The spiritual stench has so overwhelmed My followers that most want to wallow in it, having been spiritually desensitized.

The most egregious, Satanic offense against Me is abortion. My Father created life and only He can take that life. When you partake in any way in the act of abortion, you are placing yourself on My level and that is sacrilegious. Those who directly or indirectly promote the Mortal Sin of abortion shall answer to My wrath. Each person is created in his or her time at My Father’s discretion. Each is on earth for a purpose. His creation of each and every person, male and female, is not a wrongful or wasted act.  It is an Intentional Act. My Father made no mistake when He created you male and female. How sad that the lot of you have made your bodies into ‘streetcars name desire,’ have altered your bodies that My Father created as Temples of the Holy Spirit, have perverted the sacredness of sex for your own selfish, hedonistic pleasure - man with woman before marriage, man with man, woman with woman.

The Sacrament of Marriage between a man and a woman that I am responsible for has evolved into legal perversion where man ‘marries’ another man, a woman ‘marries’ another woman.  Where is the lesson learned from Sodom and Gomorrah?

Many, and if just one, that is too many, have sacrificed their moral principles to advance their political aspirations when they vote on moral issues. Very sadly some even sincerely believe they are doing the correct thing. But they are wrong. All politicians of this ilk, regardless of what religion they adhere to or whether they are atheists, will have to answer to Me on their Personal Judgment Day. Now is the time while on this earth for them to undo the evil they have advanced. Once they enter into eternity, there is no turning back. Your fate – whether Heaven or Hell – is sealed.

Write this into your mind: A sin, minor or major, against another person or even against yourself is a crime against Me, your God.

Sins of the flesh and of pride head the list of avenues that lead to Eternal Damnation. Few take the Road Less Traveled.

You have turned My Father’s creation of yourselves into a cesspool. You have ejected Me from your private lives and from the public square through laws you have legislated. Do you not understand that without Me there is no inner peace for you, that you have created a vacuum into which Satan has entered? Did you not know that he goes about the world seeking the ruination of your souls?

Another leading sin is the breaking of My Commandment:  “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” which is the intentional defaming of another’s character and which is exemplified mainly in the political sphere. Winning is a strong motivation and many in the political world, although not confined to this arena, commit Defamation of Character through lies, half-lies, distorted truths to destroy an opponent. HYPOCRITES! All of you!! You will answer to me on your YOUR Judgment Day!

You are voting for laws that force faithful Christians to go against their religious principles should they comply.

But the ones who will have the full wrath of My anger are those of the clergy who are ‘wolves in sheep’s clothing,’ heretics all who lead their flocks astray and away from Me. They take My Teachings and distort them. They try to make Absolutes into Relativism.  Even the sanctity of The Vatican is tainted with homosexual clergy; positions of grave importance in the Pontifical Academies are littered with people who are against My Teachings.

WHAT DOES IT MATTER IF YOU GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD AT THE EXPENSE OF YOU SOUL!!!

I have Infinite Mercy but I also have Justice.  BEWARE!!, for you have been FOREWARNED! 

Turn to me for I am LOVE, SALVATION, PEACE, TRUTH, HAPPINESS. The world is not the answer, I am! COME TO ME!

Monday Musings - Brace for Persecution and Spiritual Combat.

Less than 25 per cent of Catholics who attend Sunday Mass, we have been told by pollsters, believe in the Real Presence of our Lord in the Eucharist. Even fewer ever visit Him during the week or outside of Sunday Mass - this despite our Lord's unending invitation that we come and quench His thirst for our love.

For those who did believe and did visit Him prior to this extended time of isolation, quarantine and staying in place, the past weeks have been a very painful loss - now we have a taste of what our Lord has endured for centuries - being abandoned and treated irreverently.

There is much to say about the appropriateness or inappropriateness of not offering public Masses or the Sacraments and locking our Churches during these difficult times, but that will have to await another post at some future time.

Dan Burke, noted blogger and spiritual guide, who miraculously survived the corona virus, views these trying times as a chastisement from God in response to the irreverent and sacrilegious way in which His Church and His people have treated Him. He is not alone in that regard. We should not ignore what he has to say.

Such conduct, he argues, must not continue when our Church doors are unlocked. WE MUST REDISCOVER AND REINSTATE A SENSE OF THE SACRED IN OUR CHURCHES AND IN THE MANNER IN WHICH WE CELEBRATE THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS AND RECEIVE HIS MOST PRECIOUS BODY, BLOOD, SOUL AND DIVINITY. There had heretofore been opposition to doing these things and that hostility, Dan suggests, is likely to get worse before it gets better.
