May the wisdom of this great saint stir our souls to a greater appreciation for the magnificence and value of each Mass offered daily throughout the world.
If only Catholics were taught this simple truth! The charm and value of the Extraordinary Form of the Roman rite is that it is not endlessly tinkered with and is obviously, in its celebration, the work of God. It belongs to the Church, not to the parish liturgy committee and the priest to do as they please.
