Virtual Book Tour - Dying For Revenge: The Lady Doc Murders Book One by Dr. Barbara Golder

I am honored to be part of this Virtual Book tour.

Until a few years ago, I was not a big fan of fiction. Much of what I had picked up was too trashy, unrealistic, overly violent or poorly written.

A friend assured me there was much of value in the genre and challenged me to explore the hidden treasures she and other writers had discovered or helped bring to print. Dying For Revenge, The Lady Doc Murders-Book One is one of the gems I would have missed had she not brought this novel to my attention.

I will try not to repeat what my fellow bloggers have already posted during this virtual book tour of Dr. Barbara Golder’s first novel. You can get a real feel for this thriller by taking a look at the book’s trailer produced by its publisher, Full Quiver Publishing.

Doctor Golder has skillfully and seamlessly woven her life experiences as a Catholic, forensic pathologist and attorney into a page turning, thrilling and fascinating murder mystery that will keep you at the edge of your seat, glued to the book and surprised by its many unforeseen twists and turns. WARNING: You may even become sleep deprived, finding it nearly impossible to put the book down.

You will be introduced to a side of the criminal justice system that very rarely sees the light of day. You will come to admire the courage and integrity of so many who devote their lives, at great sacrifice, to protect us. You will also be appalled by those few who take the law into their own hands or use their positions for personal gain and/or to ruin and destroy lives.

As a retired criminal defense attorney and former prosecutor, Dying For Revenge made me relive some of the hidden injustices I saw and sought to correct during my tenure in our criminal justice system.

Get a copy of this book and pray that Doctor Golder’s second novel will not be long in coming!

Don't just take my word for it. Here are two other opinions:

"Dying for Revenge dives into the deeply personal place in so many hearts with “justifiable” reasons for revenge... but the face of mercy is entwined in the unexpected turn of events. You will be captivated..." - Patricia M. Chivers, ABLAZE Radio WNRE-LP 98.1 FM, Catholic Church of Saint Monica

“Dying For Revenge is a darn good medical thriller — a page-turning plot and vivid characters — with a stop-you-in your tracks twist: the costs of revenge. It’s a gripping story — I defy anyone to put it down.” Deacon Dennis Dorner, Chancellor, Archdiocese of Atlanta
