Are We Too Complacent?

Is it possible now that He so readily gives Himself to us that we have taken His great Gift for granted?

  1. St. Jose Maria makes a good point here, especially important as we are in the season of Advent. Perhaps it would help us to think of ourselves as living a little Advent every time we receive Holy Communion. Let us bless the Lord for giving us what the Israelites could not have in all that time of waiting. Just thinking about this is staggering. It must have been monumental to the apostles when they consecrated the bread and wine.
