Eucharistic Reflection - Have You Closed The Door In His Face?

Ever since the day you were born, My child, I am at your door desiring your whole heart, but…has it been Mine?...How many times have you harshly closed the door in My Face, preferring the world…the vanities…the occupations…worldly creatures…even Satan disguised?...Look back and tell Me, if you can, that it has not been so.

How many knocks did your conversion cost Me?...How many time, my dear soul, did you laugh, and I was lamenting this with sighs and tears right next to you…Your resisted me with haughtiness, and I insisted humbly with incomparable motivation…And when once You did come to open your heart, did you not experience My enthusiasm and rejoicing?

And today, what can you say?...Have I never cried at the door of your heart?...Have I not had to await humbly – and with the patience of God, and with pearls in My hands…and amidst the noise of your pride – for you to hear Me…What have I done for you except benefit you?...What am I asking for except that which should be Mine, that is, your heart – but a clean…pure…open…loving…generous…and sacrificed heart? Is this how you give it to Me?”
