The West, post war, was weary of fighting and it was enjoying the greatest material boom ever in 1950. Ears weren't open to Sheen because the Prince of this world was in full swing seducing people into believing they could have everything they wanted at no cost. The great Muslim invasion had not yet begun; focus was on Jewish resettlement in Israel and the chasing of money however it could be made. Even today people refuse to accept the fact that Muslims think nothing of lying and cheating us dhimmis because it is in the Koran, which they take far more seriously than we do the Bible. By his life of self-renunciation and focus on our true purpose of existence, Sheen was able to see everything clearly, but no one wanted to heed his voice in this matter.
