If You Are A Blogger Try This Out!

I learned a great deal from reading "10 Ways to Refresh Your Blog," Charlotte Ostermann's most recent article on the Catholic Writers Guild blog.  It was filled with helpful and practical suggestions.

Charlotte references Tagxedo.com,  a neat way to get a different perspective on your blog. This site will generate a word cloud from the words contained in your blog. "The words are 'weighted' by the number of times they are used," she writes,"and it's an interesting look at what content has the most gravitas on your site." It's fun and best of it is free.

If you are blogger, do yourself a favor and take a look at Charlotte's 10 Ways for refreshing your blog. I have already followed her advice.

What do you think about her suggestions, my word cloud, and the new look for "Harvesting The Fruits of Contemplation"?

We would both love to hear from you.

  1. I think your word cloud is fairly accurate from what I've read. I ran it on my blog, though, and it didn't look right at all. I'll be looking at a couple of her suggestions, particularly link-within and flavicon. Your blog looks good though. It's very easy on the eyes and clean.

  3. I like the clean new look of your blog. The word cloud rocks. I tried it on my blog and got good results. This new look is much easier to read for old eyes like mine than the other one.

PRAYER TO BE PRESERVED FROM SUDDEN DEATH

MOST AMIABLE JESUS "I humbly implore Thee by Thy ignominious Scourging, The Crowning with Thorns, Thy Holy Cross, and by all Thy Goodness, not to permit me to pass out of this world without having received Thy most holy Sacraments." -Prayer of St. Vincent Ferrer

PRAYER OF ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA

"Eternal Father, all things are possible for You. Although You created us without our assistance, You will not save us unless we help. Therefore, I pray You re-create their wills so that they wish for what they do not wish for: I ask this of Your infinite mercy. You have created us out of nothing. Now that we exist have mercy on us. Re-make the vessel which You created in Your own image and likeness. Bring them back to Your grace through the grace and blood of You Son, the beloved Jesus Christ."
