Thanks to you, I have another prayerful request to make to our Lord. michaelseagriffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714905349118817391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3849039810061411241.post-58026589448117582792015-09-29T14:04:05.529-04:002015-09-29T14:04:05.529-04:00I never know whether the quotes I share will impac...I never know whether the quotes I share will impact any of my readers in the same fashion they did me. I leave that up to God. How affirming it is when someone takes the time to comment on what I have shared. Thank you Anne. You do that frequently and I appreciate it very much.michaelseagriffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714905349118817391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3849039810061411241.post-89474726462743079822015-09-29T09:05:47.799-04:002015-09-29T09:05:47.799-04:00The Baltimore Catechism answers the question: What...The Baltimore Catechism answers the question: What is prayer? Prayer is the lifting of our minds and hearts to God.

I often ponder this and am grateful for having been raised memorizing all those questions and answers. Little did I know as a child how much it would mean to me now.

Hebrews 7:25 is hugely comforting. If we truly ponder this, we can find great peace in all our tribulations. I often pray, "Lord, teach me what You want me to know." It's not exactly the same as asking Jesus to give me the grace to ask the Father for what He asks on my behalf, but in it there is that same alignment with His will. What He wants me to know may well be what He is asking for on my behalf. Thanks so much for these meditations.Barb Schoenebergerhttp://www.sufferingwithjoy.com/blognoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3849039810061411241.post-6095253989175797032015-09-29T06:21:47.464-04:002015-09-29T06:21:47.464-04:00This was an excellent reflection and just what I n...This was an excellent reflection and just what I needed this morning!Anne Costahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12400032016201093347noreply@blogger.com
